Spring Sheldon is a Martha's Vineyard-based freelance chef and a co-founder of Maker's Table, a traveling pop-up dining experience.  She is a graduate of Boston University's gastronomy program, where she studied with Chef Jacque Pepin. She has worked extensively in some of Boston's award winning restaurants and has been featured in The Boston Globe. Currently, she is the owner and head chef of Sea and Spoon Kitchen, a small catering company based on Martha's Vineyard.   Spring spends a great deal of time in Oaxaca, Mexico, appreciating and absorbing the nuances of Mexican cuisine. As a lover of laughter, travel and adventure, she incorporates all three passions into her food when hosting wildly fun dinner parties, from which her guests always leave happy and satiated.
